A young Keanu Reeves is the inspiration for Kai’paka Whakahewha (Kai) who is the outlaw who helps the twin sisters Mara and Hana. Both girls mistrust Kai and his friends, but they discover there is honor among thieves, at least the Wakahewa Band of brigands.
